The purpose of the Science, Economy and Society area is to identify the demands and needs in the areas of Science, Technology, and Innovation through the preparation of studies and analyses that correlate the different dimensions of science, economy, and society in Panama and that generate evidence to support policy proposals and the strategic planning of the National Science, Technology, and Innovation System; and the preparation of prospective analyses that allow establishing future analyses and foresee possible scenarios whose results can be used by decision makers for the design of short, medium, and long term policies that facilitate the development of the National Science, Technology, and Innovation System (SNCTI as in Spanish) for the sustainable and inclusive development of the country.
