Department for the Development of Scientific and Technological Skills It is responsible for articulating and coordinating efforts to strengthen the science, technology, and innovation system by supporting the development of Panamanian human capital and encouraging activities related to science and technology. In order to strengthen national scientific skills, various programs are developed within the Department, which are focused on the development of science in the country.
